Horsemanship is the development of the horse and human friendship. Horses are very relational creatures by design. Deepen your friendship with your horse as well as grow your knowledge and skill.

Boot Camp - Horsemanship 101

Get your horsemanship off on the right start with Boot Camp. If you have never attended a Cornerstone Horsemanship Clinic this is the one for you. Whether you are new to the world of Horsemanship, or if you want to grow your knowledge and hone your skills this is for you. Level 2 and 3 will build from what you learn in Level 1.

Camp Engage - Horsemanship 102

"Take every though captive...." 2 Corinthians 2:5

Once you have completed Horsemanship 101 you are ready to move on. Take your knowledge and skill and engage it. Learn how to be engaged with your horse and to make sure that your hose is engaged with you. Work on getting them light, soft, supple and prepared for more advanced maneuvers.

Camp Precision - Horsemanship 103

"As the horseman thinks, so the horse does." Proverbs 23:7 paraphrased

Take your horsemanship to the next level with precision. Learn how to make it look like they are reading your thoughts. Get your horse doing more advanced maneuvers and put them together for use on the trails, working on the ranch, or in the performance ring.

Camp Gallant - Ride Fearless

"Do not fear for I am with you..." Isaiah 41:10

Do you suffer with fear, worry, or anxiety while riding? Camp Gallant is just the clinic for you. Join together with other riders whom you can relate with. This clinic is a no judgement and no pressure zone. There are no expectations of riders other than to help you grow in knowledge, wisdom and understanding to become a Gallant Rider. We will look at why we become fearful, worried, or anxious and the counsel God's Word has for us to combat it, as well as learn new habits and encourage one another.

All of our clinics are based on a Biblical view of the horse and are built on the legacy of the horsemanship of Tom Dorrance, Ray Hunt, and the like. Our goal is to build a strong relationship with your horse built on trust and mutual understanding. We do this through both classroom sessions as well as hands on work with the horse, beginning with groundwork and transferring it into the saddle for a successful ride.

What you need to host a clinic:

Indoor arena for in-climate weather that can accommodate up to 10 riders.
A climate controlled (preferred) meeting area for classroom sessions.
Stalls or private pens for horses that travel in.
Camper hookups for traveling participants.
Accommodations for clinician(s).

Benefit of hosting a clinic:

Host is able to attend the clinic at no cost.
A horse of your choice will be worked by the clinician.
10% kickback if the clinic is full with 10 participants!
